Lily and her sister Cookie lost their home a year ago. Lily, who’s 14, was the shyer of the two, and it took time for her to show her true self. Now she sleeps next to her foster mom every night and the two have great conversations. She is an excellent alarm clock too! Lily is not afraid of dogs or other cats, though she is cautious. She’s not fond of being held, but sitting next to you is perfect. If you have a quiet home and are looking for a good companion, email us at osc@orangestreetcats.org to meet Lily! See MoreSee Less

About a month ago, rescue friend and kitty super hero, Jazz told us about a cat she knew was sick and in need of help, could OSC take him into our adoption program if she could trap him. We said yes, and Jazz and her friend Rosa tried to trap him, and they tried and tried for weeks and tonight they got him! Thank goodness they did because the poor guy is not well, he’s filthy and looks thin. As of this writing one volunteer is sitting with the new fellow at the emergency vet and another volunteer just finished prepping comfortable overnight accommodations for him. He hasn’t seen the vet yet, turns out to be a busy night at the emergency vet, but we’ll keep you posted. Meantime, please send the new guy some well wishes. Nice save Jazz and thanks for caring for him Rosa. See MoreSee Less
