Orange Street Cats

Although better known as St. Patrick’s Day, March 17 is also the feast day of St. Gertrude, the patron saint of cats and gardeners. On this day, there are two special cats that both need to have a leg amputated. We’re happy that they are safe now. Please ask to St Gertrude to watch over them. See MoreSee Less

Thank you to everyone who helped us exceed our goal, raising $4,225 for Matilda’s medical care! We are truly grateful for your generous donations and for taking the time to share Matilda’s posts. And just look at her now, she’s doing great at her foster home. She is doing so well in fact that at her re-check appointment yesterday her staples were removed – and she’s gone from 4lbs to 5.7lbs! Thank you for all your love and support for this amazing girl! See MoreSee Less

Update! Friday was a big day for Matilda as she had her wound debrided and closed. Depending on when her drain can be removed, our girl may be released this coming week. Matilda is a very sweet girl and has been tolerant of everything including medications and bandage changes, and she is eating well. We are thrilled with her progress and her amazing resilience!

We are grateful to the 39 people who have contributed $1,990 towards her care and to all who have shared! With seven days to go, we’re nearly at the halfway point. If you can, please make a donation to help this sweet cat. Thank you, we couldn’t help cats like Matilda without your generous support. orangestreetcats.networkforgood.com/projects/69829-matilda-needs-our-help
